Specifications

Two diversion tunnels with total length 1,123 m (drilling diameter 4.5 meters and final diameter after lining 3 meters):

• Tunnel No. 1, 557.6 meters long, with the use of the agricultural water transfer system to downstream and the access road to the control room of the lower discharge valves after commissioning.

• Tunnel No. 2, 564.9 meters long, with the use of the buttom outlet after commissioning.

• Tunnels outlet structures (trajectory structure and stilling basin)

Designing and carrying out the implementation operations of restoration, widening and improvement of the access road to the construction site in the length of about 10 kilometers

Construction of an office building and permanent operation with an area of about 600 square meters on two floors

Earth works: 930,000 m3

Underground excavation: 20,000 m3

Formworks: 65,000 m2

Steel works: 2,500 Ton

Concrete: 57,000 m3

The Sajjaroud dam project is located 35 km south of Babol city on the Sajjarod river. The purpose of this project is to collect and control the surface water of the Sajjadroud River, using the construction of a reservoir dam in order to provide the drinking water needed in Zone 4 of Mazandaran province and to improve the current condition of the Sajjadroud River agricultural water right. The first phase of this project includes the design and building of diversion tunnels and reconstruction of the Sajjadroud Dam access road.
